Nawanshahr- A creche was inaugurated today in the local District Administrative Complex for the care of the young children of working women. This creche built on the second floor of the complex was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Ankurjit Singh. On this occasion, he said that the inauguration of this creche will provide great convenience to the working women here and they will be able to work properly without worrying about the care of their children.
He said that apart from toys for the children to play, mattresses for comfort and other necessary facilities, staff has also been arranged for their care. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Avneet Kaur said on this occasion that this creche is truly an important step towards women empowerment. She said that with this they will be able to leave the worries of the house and contribute to the society.
The women working in the District Administrative Complex present on this occasion said that this creche will give them great relief, because their attention was always on their young children. But now they will be able to work better without any worry. District Development and Panchayat Officer Nidhi Sinha, PA-to DC Jasbir Singh, District Nazar Harpal Singh and others were present on the occasion.
