Patiala, November 1: After questioning Jaspal Singh, a constable who provided mobile phones and other items to the inmates of Patiala Jail, who was arrested last Sunday, the police arrested local resident Jaskirat Singh.

S.H.O. P.S. of Tripari Police Station.  Bajwa has told that Jaspal Singh is a resident of Phagwara and he was assigned to duty in Patiala Jail as a guard four months ago. After the interrogation of Jaskirat Singh, other alleged accused Ravinder Kali and Virinder Singh Chahal have also been arrested. Jaspal Singh was in touch with them for the purchase of mobiles. PS Bajwa further said that another accused named Karan has also been arrested who used to make fake bills. Cases have been registered against them under sections 420 and 120-B of the IPC.
