In the meeting, a series of discussions were held regarding the progress of various schemes and works going on in Una district. In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion about the efforts being made by the Revenue Department to reduce the pending cases related to intkal, taxim, marking and illegal occupation of government land. In the meeting, the District Revenue Officer informed that on the first day of intkal Day organized in district Una on October 30, 2023, a total of 1,019 intkal were registered while 173 cases are still pending. Apart from this, the efforts being made by the district administration for the education of children of migrant laborers in the district and many other issues related to the revenue department including MNREGA were also discussed in detail. On this occasion, Divisional Commissioner Kangra A Shainamol directed the administrative officers of the district to make special efforts for the education of the children of migrant laborers so that the children belonging to the poor section of the society can also get equal opportunities. He also gave necessary directions to the officials to maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the city.
