A fire broke out in Sunny Enclave police station under Kharar police station in Mohali. The fire spread very fast. Clouds of smoke were visible far and wide. Fire department vehicles reached the spot and the fire has been brought under control. Top police officers were also present on the spot.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that a high tension electricity line passes over the police post. Due to which it broke and fell, the vehicles parked there caught fire. Many vehicles which were standing at the post in connection with different cases were burnt to ashes.
