Mohali- A meeting was held at district SAS Nagar by DSP Karan Sandhu and SHO Thana Balogi Amandeep Kamboj to listen to the problems of the people under the campaign being run by Senior Superintendent of Police, District SAS Nagar, Mr. Deepak Pareek IPS under Punjab Police Project Sampark.

Mohali- A meeting was held at district SAS Nagar by DSP Karan Sandhu and SHO Thana Balogi Amandeep Kamboj to listen to the problems of the people under the campaign being run by Senior Superintendent of Police, District SAS Nagar, Mr. Deepak Pareek IPS under Punjab Police Project Sampark.
During the meeting, villagers were motivated to raise public grievances, strengthen trust and cooperation between police and citizens to resolve local problems. People were also made aware about cyber crime matters and traffic rules.
People were appealed not to let children below 18 years of age drive vehicles and it was also told that if a child below 18 years of age drives a vehicle, then his parents can be imprisoned for 3 years, fined up to Rs 5000. Along with a fine of up to Rs 25,000, the person giving a vehicle to a child below the age of 18 years can also be imprisoned for 3 years or fined. Along with this, people were made aware about the Good Samaritan Scheme being run by the government and it was told that if any person helps an accident victim, then he will be given Rs 2000 (under the Farishte Scheme) by the government.
People were appealed that if you have given any of your flats or houses on rent, then definitely get the police verification of your tenants done. For this, the villagers of Balongi thanked Sub Division Kharar and DSP Karam Sandhu and Balongi Police Station SHO Amandeep Kamboj and his entire team.
