Delhi/Chandigarh, August 3, 2025- BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh has accused the top leadership of the Congress of deliberately creating a disruptive and anti-national narrative across the country.
Reacting sharply to Rahul Gandhi's statement on former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Chugh said that Rahul Gandhi has made a claim not only shameful but also ridiculous by saying that he has received threats from a deceased person. "Is Rahul Gandhi suffering from dementia?" Chugh asked. He said that "such statements are not only indecent but also against the dignity of the country."
Chugh also attacked Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and said that he is crossing the limits of decorum by raising questions on constitutional posts in order to please the Gandhi family and by indulging in their parikramaavaadi. “Kharge's role now is only to repeat the script written by the high command. If the Gandhi family is happy even by demeaning democratic institutions, then they are ready,” Chug said.
Chug said that instead of playing a constructive role of the opposition, the Congress has now completely come down to an anti-national agenda. “Their entire agenda is now based only on obstruction, confusion and frustration.”
Chug also attacked Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi for questioning the Election Commission over the identification of fake votes in Bihar. He said, “The Indi alliance has no faith in democracy. They only know how to spread rumors, create artificial fear to scare the public.
It is an old habit of the Congress-RJD-Indi alliance to show themselves as victims by lying, but now the people of the country have understood their game very well.”
