S.A.S. Nagar- Playwright and theatre director Sanjivan Singh welcomed the decision of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to block the websites and apps of 25 OTT platforms including ALT, Ullu, Desiflix, Big Shots App, BooMax, Kangana App, Bull App, Jalwa App which broadcast pornographic content.
He said that these OTT platforms are destroying and misleading our young generation and future generations by broadcasting obscene and vulgar content. 
He urged the government to seriously consider that songs, singers, and platforms like PUBG which promote obscenity, vulgarity, intoxication and weapons should also be banned, as such content is helping in increasing drug addiction, criminal activities and crimes against women in the society. Platforms like PUBG are increasing violent tendencies, especially in young children.
