Una, June 25- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Wednesday conducted a field inspection of the sites identified for the proposed Rajiv Gandhi Government Government Model Day Boarding School and Heliport project in Jankour Haar of Una Assembly Constituency. On this occasion, he directed the concerned officials to complete all the formalities in a timely manner. 117 kanal land has been selected for the school in Janakpur Haar, which has already been transferred to the name of the Education Department. Also, 24 kanal land has been identified for the heliport project. The construction of this heliport will provide a new facility in the district in terms of emergency services, disaster management and VIP movement. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that the state government is setting up Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day Boarding School equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in every assembly constituency. These institutes will be based on CBSE pattern from pre-primary to class 12th, in which facilities like smart classrooms, playgrounds, indoor stadium, swimming pool, music room will be available. These schools will establish new dimensions of quality and overall development in the field of education. He informed that land selection and formalities have been completed in all the five assembly constituencies of Una district, namely Una, Haroli, Gagret, Chintpurni and Kutlahar, and rapid steps are being taken towards construction work. Janakpur Haar in Una area, Badhera in Haroli, Sanghnai in Gagret, Ladoli in Chintpurni and Bangana (Boat) in Kutlahar have been identified as construction sites. Construction work is also going on at a fast pace in Sanghnai. Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected the helipad project under construction at Roda near Rampur bridge and issued necessary guidelines. SDM Una Vishwa Mohan Dev Chauhan, Executive Engineer of Public Works Department Una Kuldeep Singh and other officers were present.
