
Punjab government's strictness against those spreading obscenity on social media welcomed.
SAS Nagar, June 23- Playwright and theatre director Sanjivan Singh welcomed the announcement of Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur to register a case and take legal action against those who post obscene content or spread obscenity on social media and said that along with this, the government should also take appropriate action to stop writing and singing songs that promote obscenity, indecency, drugs and weapons.

In a statement issued here, he said that just as the elements spreading obscenity on social media are ruining and misleading our young generation and future generations, similarly such songs and song writing are helping in increasing drug addiction, criminal activities and crimes against women in the society.
