MLA Kulwant Singh inaugurated the renovation work done in the schools of villages Kailo, Chapparchiri Khurd and Chapparchiri Kalan at a cost of Rs 33.90 lakh.

SAS Nagar, May 27, 2025: Under the "Punjab Shiksha Kranti" campaign launched by the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann, MLA Mohali Kulwant Singh today dedicated the renovation of rooms and boundary wall of Government Primary School Kailo at a cost of Rs 20 lakh, smart classroom in Government Primary School Chapparchiri Khurd at a cost of Rs 7 lakh 50 thousand and boundary wall work of Government Middle School Chapparchiri Kalan at a cost of Rs 06 lakh 40 thousand to the school students.

Speaking on the occasion, Kulwant Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Party government came to Punjab with the promise of improving the education infrastructure and the government has worked day and night to fulfill this promise.
Basic works were pending in the government schools of Punjab for the last 75 years, which have been completed under the Shiksha Kranti Abhiyan. He said that 20 thousand new teachers have been recruited in government schools and 12,700 new teachers have been made permanent.
For the first time in the history of Punjab, teachers of government schools have been sent to big institutions in the country and abroad to receive high level training. About 100 Schools of Eminence have been built equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Bus service has also been started for government schools and 10 thousand students are taking advantage of the bus service.
Campus managers, security guards and watchmen have been appointed in schools. Most of the schools have been equipped with internet Wi-Fi facility. The rate of investment in the state has also increased significantly and more than Rs 97 thousand crore has been invested. Due to this, the youth of the state are getting employment on a large scale. The Punjab government has given 56 thousand government jobs. On this occasion, SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur, Tehsildar Mohali Robinjit Kaur, DEO Primary Darshanjit Singh, DSP Harsimran Singh Bal, Headmaster Government Middle School and Government Primary School Chappadchiddi Khurd, Harpreet Kaur and Neena, Headmaster Lakhwinder Kaur, Village Kailo, Jaspal Masih JE, Gurpreet Singh Kurra, Halka Coordinator, Sarpanch Manjit Kaur, Chappadchiddi Khurd, Sarpanch Kailo, Tarlochan Singh Tochi were present.
