Hoshiarpur- Yesterday, in Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary Model School Shimla Pahari Hoshiarpur, President Anurag Sood made the students aware about the current situation in the country. He said that it is our foremost duty to protect the nation and boost the morale of the brave soldiers fighting on the border in times of disaster.
He said that students must take training in first aid and civil defense. In natural disasters and war situations, civil defense trained volunteers prove to be very effective and many lives are saved due to timely first aid and precautions. On this occasion, Municipal Corporation brand ambassador social worker Mani Gogia appealed to the city residents and said that all should take training of civil defense volunteer and come forward to serve the country.
He said that we have to avoid rumors and follow the guidelines of the district administration. On this occasion, school management gave information about filling of Civil Defence forms and its procedure. Professor Najam Riyad, Professor Tracy Kohli, Principal Shobha Rani, staff and students were present on the occasion.
