Hoshiarpur- A special meeting of the governing body of Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplantation Society (Registered) was held under the chairmanship of President and prominent social worker Sanjeev Arora.
During the meeting, all the members of the society paid emotional tributes to the 27 innocent tourists who were killed in the painful terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir and prayed for the peace of their souls by observing a 2-minute silence.
On this occasion, President Sanjeev Arora and J. B. Bahl condemned the attack and said that now is the time to teach a strong lesson to Pakistan, the father of religious fundamentalism. They said that Pakistan's military generals and mullahs mislead the common naive people.
Shri Arora also said that in this difficult hour, all social, religious and political people should unite and condemn these incidents.
On this occasion, Veena Chopra and Madan Lal Mahajan said that the central and state governments should take strict steps to completely eliminate the demon of terrorism in Kashmir.
Ashwini Kumar Dutta and Avinash Sood said that the cowardly attack on innocent tourists is not bravery of any kind. They said that such idiots (terrorists) should be made to stand at the crossroads and roasted with bullets.
On this occasion, Prof. Daljit Singh, Madan Lal Mahajan, Veena Chopra, Avinash Sood, Shakha Bagga, Ashwini Kumar Dutta, Krishna Kishore and other dignitaries were present.
