Una, April 23 - A review meeting of pending cases under Forest Conservation Act (FC Act) and Forest Rights Act (FRA) was held in his chamber on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal. 
During this, the Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to settle the FC and FRA cases on priority basis at a fast pace. He directed the Jal Shakti Department to ensure speedy resolution of cases related to forest land in particular.
The Deputy Commissioner said that an expert committee has been constituted as per the instructions of the Supreme Court. Through this committee, a detailed discussion was held on recording the entries of the land areas which have been declared as forest land in coordination with the revenue records and the records of the Forest Department. 
The Deputy Commissioner directed that a sub-committee be formed at each sub-division level which will ensure monitoring and implementation of this process. Along with this, monthly review of this entire process will also be done so that transparency and speed is maintained in the work.
On this occasion, SDM Una Vishwa Mohan Dev Chauhan, DFO Una Sushil Rana, BDO Bangana Sushil Kumar, XEN Water Power Department Bangana Arvind Lakhanpal, Tehsildar Amb Prem Lal Dhiman, Tehsildar Bangana Amit Sharma and other officers were present.
