Amla tree worshiped

SAS Nagar, November 22 - Maa Annapurna Seva Samiti Mohali celebrated Amla Nomi festival on Shukla Paksha Naomi of Kartik month by worshiping Amla tree at Dharana Bhavan Phase 5 Dispensary Park.

SAS Nagar, November 22 - Maa Annapurna Seva Samiti Mohali celebrated Amla Nomi festival on Shukla Paksha Naomi of Kartik month by worshiping Amla tree at Dharana Bhavan Phase 5 Dispensary Park.

Giving information in this regard, Brij Mohan Joshi said that there is a religious belief that the Dwapar Yuga started from this day and Lord Shri Krishna left his childhood hobbies and went to Mathura. They said that Lord Vishnu is very fond of amla fruit and all the deities reside in the amla tree.

He said that on this occasion the women of Maa Annapurna Seva Samiti worshiped the amla tree and circumambulated the amla tree and sat under it to eat. Along with this, a resolution was taken to work for the protection of the environment. He said that amla is very useful for our body, it contains a lot of vitamin C and eating it strengthens the immune system and gives the power to fight bacteria by removing toxins from the body.
