Any kind of abuse with doctors will not be tolerated: Kohli

Patiala, August 20 - Today Patiala MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli participated in the strike by the doctors of Government Rajindra Hospital and Medical College Patiala and assured to solve all their problems. On this occasion Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ahmed Pare, SSP Dr. Nanak Singh, Vice Chairman of Warehouse Corporation Inderjit Singh Sandhu, District President Tejinder Mehta and the entire staff of Rajindra Hospital and medical staff were present.

Speaking on the demands expressed by the doctors on this occasion, MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli said that women's safety is the first duty, which we are fulfilling and will continue to fulfill in a good way. He said that what happened is wrong, but we will try to prevent it from happening in the future, which will be done in every possible way. The MLA said that abuse with any doctor will not be tolerated.
Meanwhile, the protesting doctors reiterated their demands that Rajindra Hospital and Medical College should be fully equipped with CCTV, police patrol should be increased, women security guards should be posted, lights should be arranged from all sides, PCR patrol should be intensified. In case, all the gates should be closed at night and one gate should be kept open, at which security guards are posted, QRT (Quick Reaction Team) should be formed so that in case of any untoward incident, this team can be immediately taken for help. can Four members of this team should be deployed day and night, videography should be prohibited inside the hospital. Expressing a promise on these demands of the doctors, MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli said that the work will be done as per the medical team.
 Work has been started on these demands and the results will start showing within 10 to 15 days. He said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann of the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab has already given orders that education and health facilities are our main agenda. Therefore, if there is no good environment, how will the doctors be able to serve the people. So we are committed to fulfill the demands of doctors. I am also committed to creating a good atmosphere in the hospital.
Meanwhile, MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli also sought cooperation from the doctors so that they can be informed about the work that is going to be done so that they can be settled in time by coordinating with the government.
