Chandigarh, March 3, 2025- The Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh, unveiled the banner for its much-anticipated event, Judicial Jive 2.0, during an exciting gala event today.

The event was marked by a vibrant flashmob performance, which showcased the enthusiasm and energy of the students, alongside a grand banner reveal. This event was attended by Dr. Vandana A. Kumar, Chairperson of the Department of Laws, Dr. Babita Devi Pathania, Coordinator, Department Representatives and numerous committee members and students from the department.
Judicial Jive 2.0 promises to be a national law fest that will bring together students, legal professionals, and eminent personalities for a series of engaging activities. The highlight of this year's fest will be the National Seminar on 29th March 2025, where legal experts will discuss contemporary issues in the legal realm.
Apart from the academic and intellectual engagement, the fest will also feature a plethora of sports events on 31st March-1st April 2025 and cultural events designed to celebrate diversity and creativity on 2-3rd April. Notable among these are a Sufi Night and a Comedy Night, both of which will include performances by renowned artists and guest appearances from big personalities in the entertainment industry.
In addition to these exciting events, Judicial Jive 2.0 will also host the 1st Global Law Alumni Meet on 11th October 2025 and the National Alumni Meet on 5th April 2025, offering alumni an opportunity to reconnect and share their experiences with current students.
The banner reveal and gala event on 3rd March set the tone for what is expected to be an exhilarating and unforgettable celebration of law, culture, and sports at Panjab University. With students participating in large numbers, the fest is set to be a grand success, marking yet another milestone for the Department of Laws at Panjab University, Chandigarh.
