Hoshiarpur 1 March- On the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, under the 'War on Drugs' campaign across the state, Hoshiarpur Police today launched the CASO operation across the district from the local police station, led by SSP Sandeep Kumar Malik.
Running the CASO operation in the Ghanta Ghar area from the City Police Station, SSP Sandeep Kumar Malik said that drug smugglers and drug dealers in the district will be dealt with strictly. He said that the police in the district have frozen the illegal assets of drug smugglers worth more than Rs 20 crores made by selling drugs in the past. He said that strict action will be taken against drug dealers in the future as well.
