Una, 20 February- Vehicular movement on Gagret-Amb road will remain closed from 21 February to 21 March, 2025. During this period, traffic will be diverted to alternative routes. Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Jatin Lal has issued orders in this regard under Section 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
He informed that these orders have been issued for laying cement treated layer on the road as well as for quick and smooth carrying out other construction works. During this period, traffic has been diverted from Gagret to Kaloh via alternative route at the meeting point of Gagret Amb Road and Kaloh Chowk Shivadi Road.
The Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned officials to inform the public about the closure of the road and to put up advance boards to inform about the change of route.
