Mahilpur, 13 February- 62nd All India Prince Harbhajan Singh Memorial Football Tournament is being organized from 14th February to 21st February at the sports ground of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur under the leadership of Kulwant Singh Sangha, President of Principal Harbhajan Singh Sporting Club, Mahilpur.
In this regard, a meeting of the officials of Principal Harbhajan Singh Sporting Club, Mahilpur was held today at the office of the Sporting Club located at Khalsa College, Mahilpur. On this occasion, Secretary of Punjab Football Association, Harjinder Singh Jagga was specially present and gave information about the rules of the Football Federation.
On this occasion, the President of the Club, Kulwant Singh Sangha said that in the opening match to be held on the first day, MLA of Assembly constituency Chabbewal, Dr. Ishank Kumar will be the chief guest, while President of Sikh Educational Council, Sant Sadhu Singh Kutia Kaharpuri will participate in the opening prayer of the match.
He informed that renowned football teams from all over India are participating in the remaining matches of club, college and academy categories and preparations have been completed for smooth management of the tournament. He said that during the final matches on February 21, Lok Sabha Member from Sri Anandpur Sahib Malvinder Singh Kang, Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Jai Krishan Singh Raudi and Director of Shree Realty Chandigarh Laxmi Kant Swami will be present as chief guests and distribute prizes to the players.
