Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 27, 2025: Exercising powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke has cancelled the license of the firm M/s Best Western Consultancy.
The Additional District Magistrate informed that the firm M/s Best Western Consultancy S.C.O. No. 77, 2nd Floor, Phase-2, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, owned by Sandeep Kumar son Butta Das, resident of House No. 299, Dhanaula Khurd, Dhanaula, District Barnala, currently resident of House No. 1346, Sector-68, Mohali was issued license No. 407/IC, dated 07.09.2020 for consultancy work. The validity of this license was up to 06-09-2025.
He further informed that as per the report of Tehsildar, Kharar, the licensee had requested that he wants to get his license number 407 cancelled and he is applying to close the License Application Immigration Cell at his old address and his office at the said address should be closed, in relation to which a letter dated 20.09.2023 was written to the licensee asking him to appear on 05.10.2023, but the licensee did not appear and despite a long time having passed, no reply was received from him.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that on the basis of the above situation regarding the firm, the licensee has not responded/clarified the notice as per the Act/Rules and Advisory and has not complied with the sections of the license, the firm and the licensee have violated the provisions of Section 6(1)(E) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012.
