Nawanshahr - Additional District Magistrate Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Rajiv Verma said that under Section 6(1)(g) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the license number 119/MA/MC-2 dated 05-11-2018 issued to the petitioner Amarjit Singh son Hukam Singh resident of House No. B-6/56, Jyoti Complex, Chandigarh Road, Nawanshahr, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, reservation of the firm M/s British Academy B-6/56, Jyoti Complex, Chandigarh Road, Nawanshahr, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar has been cancelled with immediate effect.
The Additional District Magistrate said that apart from this, under the said Act, the license number 150/MA/MC-2 dated 05-07-2019 issued to the petitioner Madhu Rana wife Daljit Singh Rana resident of village Roorkee Mughala, Tehsil Balachaur District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, firm M/s Aastha Coaching Center for IELTS Kulam Road, Nar Colony, Nawanshahr, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar has been cancelled with immediate effect.
He informed that both the above license applicants have closed their IELTS centers. He clarified that as per the Act/Rules, the said license holders will be fully responsible for any complaint etc. against themselves or their firm and will also be responsible for compensating the same.
