S. A. S. Nagar, August 1- Senior Akali leader Kuldeep Kaur Kang was specially honored by the local Phase 4 H. M. Welfare Association Phase 4 for becoming a working committee member of Shiromani Akali Dal.
On this occasion, the president of the association Sukhdeep Singh Badala said that Bibi Kuldeep Kaur Kang (who is a resident of Phase 4) has been active in social service work as well as development work in her area for a long time and the people of the ward have also elected her as a councilor of the Municipal Corporation Mohali twice.
He said that in the Shiromani Akali Dal, she has also played an important role in strengthening the party while holding various positions, as a result of which Sukhbir Singh Badal has appointed her as a working committee member.
On this occasion, among others, Narinder Singh Kalsi (Chairman), Manmohan Singh (General Secretary), Ish Kumar (Senior Vice President), Amandeep Chhabra (Vice President), Dheeraj Kaushal (Legal Advisor), Rajiv Goswami (Treasurer), Poonam Lutawa, Charanjit Kaur Saini, Shardha Gupta and local residents were present.
