
Special eye camp organized under Road Safety Month
Hoshiarpur- Under the Road Safety Month being celebrated by the Punjab Government till January 31, 2025, on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, a special eye camp was organized at the bus stand Hoshiarpur to check the eyes of the drivers. During this, the Regional Transport Officer was specially present.

The camp was led by Jasbir Singh Kotla, General Manager, Punjab Roadways Hoshiarpur. In this special eye camp, the team of eye specialists Dr. Meenu Sidhu and Dr. Deepak Chaudhary of Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur examined the eyes of about 70 people including bus drivers and common people. People with serious eye problems were advised to get treatment at Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur.
Along with this, free medicines were also distributed to the needy. During the camp, the General Manager thanked the medical team of the Civil Hospital and appealed to all government and private bus drivers to get their eyes checked regularly. The main objective of this campaign of Road Safety Month is to reduce road accidents and create awareness among all drivers.
