Patiala, January 4- DIG Patiala Range Mandeep Singh Sidhu has informed that as part of the efforts of Punjab Police for public health, a Cancer Checkup and Awareness Camp will be organized by World Cancer Care Charitable Society under the leadership of Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal UK at Police Lines, Patiala on January 5.
Mandeep Singh Sidhu was present at the Bhog of Sehaj Path of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji organized by Punjab Police Pensioners Welfare Association, District Patiala on the occasion of New Year and had come to pay obeisance at the feet of Guru Maharaj. He appreciated the service of the path done by the retired officers of Punjab Police.
Mandeep Singh Sidhu also released the New Year calendar dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji prepared by Punjab Police Pensioners Association. The World Cancer Care Charitable Society will provide free cancer screening as well as diabetes, blood pressure, eye screening and other general health screening services at the cancer screening and awareness camp.
