SAS Nagar, October 30- President of Consumer Protection Federation SAS Nagar Eng. Under the chairmanship of PS Virdi, the leaders of the organization Kuldeep Singh Bhinder, Niranjan Singh Chhabra conducted a survey of their market in phase eight along with supervisors Lakhwinder Singh and Jaspreet Singh present on the occasion of Mandi Board.

The spokesperson of the organization said that on this occasion it was seen that some vendors were robbing the people by not selling the vegetables as per the list of rates fixed by the Mandi Board and selling them at high prices. Necessary action was taken to stop this robbery on the spot by the respective supervisor staff of the market and a fine was also imposed and strict instructions were given to the vendors that henceforth such vendors will not be allowed to sit in the markets and their goods will also be confiscated.

The president of the organization Mr. PS Virdi said that whenever they go to the market, they should first check the rate banner and rate list posted by the market board and only after that buy the required vegetables and fruits. So that these vendors can avoid looting.
