SAS Nagar, August 2 – Senior Congress leader Harkesh Chand Sharma Muchhli Kalan has said that the current AAP government is responsible for the poor law and order situation in Punjab. In a statement issued here, he said that due to the lax performance of the Punjab government, the courage of miscreants and mischievous elements has been boosted.
Mr. Sharma said that when miscreants can threaten the son of a leader like the current MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, then only God is the protector of the common people of Punjab.
He said that since the AAP party took power in the state, incidents of looting and murder have started happening daily in Punjab. The state government has failed miserably in curbing the criminals, which has created an atmosphere of fear and terror in the minds of the common people, while the gangsters have been emboldened.
