“Tarz-e-Zindgi” based on the works of Inder Singh Raj was launched

Chandigarh: The book Tarz-e-Zindgi, written by S. Inder Singh Raj and edited by his daughter Dr. Amar Jyoti, was launched and felicitated by Prism International Literature and Art Foundation, UK under the leadership of Punjabi Writers’ Association Chandigarh. The launch and felicitation ceremony of the book Tarz-e-Zindgi, written by S. Inder Singh Raj and edited by his daughter Dr. Amar Jyoti, was organized at Press Club Chandigarh today.

Chandigarh: The book Tarz-e-Zindgi, written by S. Inder Singh Raj and edited by his daughter Dr. Amar Jyoti, was launched and felicitated by Prism International Literature and Art Foundation, UK under the leadership of Punjabi Writers’ Association Chandigarh. The launch and felicitation ceremony of the book Tarz-e-Zindgi, written by S. Inder Singh Raj and edited by his daughter Dr. Amar Jyoti, was organized at Press Club Chandigarh today. The event was presided over by Punjab Kala Parishad Chairman Swaranjit Swai and the chief guest was Dr. Deepak Manmohan Singh. Inder Singh Raj’s daughter Swatantra Sneh was a special guest on the occasion. Apart from this, the main speakers were Dr. Manmohan, Dr. Labh Singh Khiva, Sardara Singh Cheema, Dr. Davinder Boha and Baljit Balli. Apart from these, Ghazals and songs from the book were sung by Darshan Tiuna, Gurjodh Kaur, Surjit Singh Dhir and Davinder Kaur Dhillon.
In a grand function at the Press Club, the Sardar Inder Singh 'Raaz' Memorial Literary Award was given to Dr. Yograj Angreesh and the Sardarni Surjit Pritam Kaur Memorial Humanity Award was given to Deepak Sharma Chanarthal.
The function was started by Bhupinder Singh Malik, General Secretary, Punjabi Writers' Association, Chandigarh, welcoming all the scholars and eminent personalities present. He congratulated them for the book Tarz-e-Zindgi edited by Dr. Amar Jyoti, daughter of Inder Singh Raaz. Apart from this, in the function, Dr. Davinder Boha said that through this book, our late poet has kept various aspects of life along with his literary journey. The importance of life has been shown through Ghazal and Nazm. In the function, Baljit Balli said that the writer was an expert in Urdu along with Arabic and Persian. He has intertwined it with the beautiful Punjabi language, which is known through the book.
Among the speakers, Dr. Manmohan said that Inder Singh Raj's work on Pakistan literature in Punjabi literature has written the literary boundaries of the language very beautifully. The professor sitting in our university does not have so much knowledge and writing skill, which Inder Raj has written aspects in Urdu, Persian, Punjabi language in the book. The standard of criticism he had was very firm. Those who are scholars of the university should definitely read from this book.
Deepak Sharma Chanarthal, who was present at the event, expressed his happiness on being honored with the Sardarni Surjit Pritam Kaur Memorial Humanity Award and said that where such honors are received, the sense of responsibility also increases.
Punjab Kala Parishad Chairman Swaranjit Swai said that Ghazal and its content and how to present it, how to present the thought in the context of Ghazal, this has been done very well by Inder Singh Raj. He knew how to express himself well in Punjabi, Urdu and Persian. He had learned to write Urdu thoughts in Punjabi language more beautifully. He congratulated the editor Dr. Amar Jyoti for presenting his father's book Tarz-e-Zindagi in a good manner.
The editor of the book Dr. Amar Jyoti welcomed all the audience and the chief guest. He further said that I have talked about my respected father Inder Singh Raj about his world. How did he understand and speak literature in Urdu and Persian language and what ideas did he present for literature. 
The writer Inder Singh Raj had a great passion for writing and reading, which he continued to do till the last moments of his life. He did not stop reading and writing. He continued to write in the world of literature for a long time. After his passing away in 2005, Sardara Singh Cheema dedicated two of his works to the public in 2006. Recognizing my father's handwriting, I have presented some poems, ghazals in this book. 
The book Tarj-e-Zindagi took a long time to write and present it the way my father wanted. Editor Dr. Amar Jyoti further said that my family members encouraged me a lot to publish the book. Discussions have been held with writers in Pakistan as well so that the book can be published in Shahmukhi language. The book Tarj-e-Zindagi reflects my father's literary art, love for society, and love for people.
On this occasion, famous children's author Dr. Darshan Singh Asht, Jan Adarsh Singh Dhanju, Jang Bahadur Goyal, Swaraj Prakash, Balkar Singh Sidhu, Nimmi Vashrisht, Harpal Kaur, Teja Singh Thuha, Nirmal Singh Mann, Paramjit Mann, Simarjit Kaur Grewal, Navneet Kaur Katharu, Malkiat Basra, Asha Rani, Pal Ajnabi, Labh Singh Lehli, Harshbab Singh Sidhu, Charanjit Kaur Bath, Raghbir Singh Sirjana, Ratan Babakwala, Mander Gill Sahibchandia, Sheena Jagbani, Babu Ram Deewana, Harpal Singh Arora, Manjit Kaur Mohali, Joginder Singh Jagga, Rajbir Kaur, Parminder Singh Gill Advocate, Rajinder Kaur, Sukhwinder Singh Sidhu, Paramjit Param, Varinder Chatha, Anita Sharma, Rakhi Bala, Rachpal Kaur, Bharpur Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Dr. Parkash Singh, Darshan Singh Sidhu etc. were present.
