His contribution to the country was not limited to just making the Constitution, but he also contributed towards education. , employment, and also worked for improvement in various sectors of the society. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said this while addressing the people of the area present in the district level program organized on the occasion of the death anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in Samurkalan. He said that Baba Saheb considered education as an important means for development, hence he established many educational institutions.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar has been a leader and supporter of Indian society as well as modern India, whose contribution is remembered even today. The creator of the Indian Constitution and social worker inspired social justice and equality in the Indian society.
He said that Dr. Ambedkar made significant contribution in the field of education in his life and he obtained higher education in various subjects by studying abroad. Understanding the needs of those sections of the Indian society, he fought for social and economic equality. Dr. Ambedkar, as the Chairman of the Constituent Assembly, played an important role in drafting the Indian Constitution and became an example for the steps he took against inequality, casteism and discrimination in the society.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar will remain unforgettable as long as there is a country and due to his contribution to the country, he is highly respected by all of us.
Discussing about development, the Deputy Chief Minister said that development, welfare and service of the poor are the top priorities of the government and there is no dearth of funds for development works. He said that a modern signature bridge is being built between Lathiani-Mandali at a cost of about Rs 400 crore, while road construction work on both sides will also be done and about Rs 900 crore is being spent on this entire work. The Deputy Chief Minister assured to build a grand multi-national building in the name of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar near Haroli Rampur bridge.
First of all in the program, the Deputy Chief Minister paid homage to Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar by paying homage to his portrait. On this occasion, apart from District Congress Committee SC Cell President Ravi Kant Bassi, Kulwinder Kaur, Raman Kumari, Yashpal Jassa, Baldev Singh Saroya, Lekh Raj Bharti, District Congress Committee President Ranjit Singh Rana, former minister Kuldeep Kumar, MLA Kutlaihar Assembly constituency were present.
