Garhshankar - The general body meeting of CPIM Tehsil Committee Garhshankar was held here today under the chairmanship of Comrade Satnam Singh Dhilo Bajjal. District Secretary Gurnek Singh Bajjal was specially present in this meeting. Gurnek Singh Bajjal Tehsil Secretary Mahinder Kumar Badoan addressed this meeting and told in detail about the upcoming actions of the party and the work done in the past and said that on 15th December, the fourth death anniversary of Comrade Raghunath Singh, who was the leader of the party, will be celebrated in his native village Binewal (Garhshankar). There will be more participation in this, in this regard, a meeting will be held on 7th December and preparations will be made. The leaders further said that on 1st January, the death anniversary of Comrade Harkishan Singh Surjeet Comrade Sita Ram Yechury is being celebrated in Chandigarh. It was decided to take more companions in the meeting. It was also decided in the meeting that the law and order situation in Punjab has worsened and theft and murder have become a daily affair. A memorandum of demands will be sent to the Home Minister of Punjab by staging a dharna in front of the DSP office on 20 December against drug abuse, illegal mining and corruption. Gurbaksh Kor, Neelam Baddoan, Baldev Satnor, Prem Rana, Prem Singh Paremi, Mohanlal Vinewal, Harbhajan Atwal, Kashmir Bajjal, Joginder Kor, Binderpal, Sukhwinder Kor Mukandpur, Jagdish Kor were present in this meeting.
