SAS Nagar, October 4- Convenor of Bharatiya Janata Party, Vyapaar Mandal, Mohali, Sundar Lal Agarwal, while condemning the Punjab government's decision to sell the Phase 11 fruit and vegetable market, said that a decision has been taken to sell Asia's first AC fruit and vegetable market located in Phase 11 to PUDA.
Mr. Agarwal said that those who are doing business by buying showrooms here will suffer huge losses, because they have no other means of livelihood. Small shopkeepers buy goods from here and sell them far away. Now they will have to go to Chandigarh every day to buy goods. This will not only cost more money but will also waste time.
Mr. Agarwal said that the financial management of the government is really bad, due to which such unfortunate decisions are being taken to earn money by selling government property. Mandi Board employees and traders are threatening to protest this decision. Because with this decision they will have to face many difficulties. They demanded that the government should withdraw this decision. Otherwise, BJP will start a strong agitation. For which the government will be responsible.
