Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, June 5: During the campaign launched by District Mohali Police against bad elements as per the directions of SSP Harmandeep Singh Hans, Inspector Harminder Singh Incharge CIA staff team under the supervision of Saurav Jindal, Captain of Police (Investigation), Talwinder Singh, Captain of Police (Operation) and Jatinder Singh Chauhan, Deputy Captain of Police (Investigation) arrested 03 accused and recovered 50 grams heroin and Rs. 95 thousand drug money from them.
CIA On 03-06-2025, the police party of the staff was checking suspicious vehicles and persons by making a blockade near the entry gate Shivjot Enclave Kharar, then during the blockade, a suspicious person was coming to Kharar on foot from Kurali side. Who was checked on the basis of suspicion, 50 grams of heroin was recovered from the cross bag around his neck. 
Against the accused Gurpreet Singh, CIA. SI Harbhej Singh of the staff registered a case No. 222 dated 03-06-2025 under Section 21/29-61-85 NDPS Act at Police Station City Kharar and the accused was arrested. The accused Gurpreet Singh told that he is doing the heroin business with his associates Rahul Sahota and Gobind Singh alias Gopi, who are residents of Himmatpura Gillwali Gate. 
According to them, a day ago, he had supplied them with heroin and given them Rs 1 lakh drug money. CIA raided and arrested Rahul Sahota and Gobind Singh alias Gopi from Gillwali Gate, Amritsar along with Rs 95 thousand drug money.
Interrogation Accused:-
1. Accused Gurpreet Singh alias Ashu son of Kashmir Singh resident of village Bhagtan Wala, police station Gate Hakima, district Amritsar, aged around 27 years, who has passed five classes and is unmarried.
2. Accused Rahul Sahota son of Manjit Singh resident of House No. 1933/1 Himmatpura Gillwali Gate, police station Division-C,
Commissionerate Amritsar. aged around 25 years, who has passed twelve classes and is unmarried.
3. Accused Gobind Singh alias Gopi son of Baldev Singh resident of House No. 1938 Himmatpura Gillwali Gate, Police Station Division-C, Commissionerate Amritsar. His age is about 26 years, he is a class 12 pass and is unmarried. (Accused Rahul Sahota and Gobind Singh were arrested from Gillwali Gate Amritsar, no case has been registered against the accused earlier)
