Hoshiarpur - A public launch and seminar of author Jaswinder Pal Happy's first children's book 'Kithe Aalana Paiye' was organized at the district office of the Language Department.
The program was presided over by Deputy District Education Officer; Elementary Education Hoshiarpur; Shiromani Sahityakaar Baljinder Mann; President of Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Hoshiarpur Jasbir Singh Dhiman; Dr. Jaswant Rai and poet Jaswinder Happy. During the seminar organized at the District Administrative Complex, Baljinder Mann welcomed everyone and presented a bird's eye view about "Kithe Aalana Paiye".
He said that the current status, possibilities and challenges of Punjabi children's literature have been discussed in detail in the poetry collection. After presenting the book to the public, Dr. Shamsher Mohi presented his views about the book and said that writing children's literature is a difficult and unique task compared to adult literature and this effort of the author is commendable. Sukhwinder Singh, Jasbir Dhiman, Principal Amandeep Sharma, Surjit Raja, Shinder Pal congratulated Jaswinder Happy for writing children's poems of "Kithe Aalana Paiye" by understanding child psychology and urged her to continue this journey. Poet Jaswinder shared his views on the process of writing the book.
Dr. Jaswant Rai, while concluding the program and answering the comments received about the book, thanked the literary friends who had come to organize this program in the premises of the Language Department and said that the doors of the Language Department are always open for such events. This is to promote Punjabi language and literature.
On this occasion, the guests and litterateurs who had come were honored by giving sets of books by the Language Department. Jaswinder Happy was also honored by the Language Department. During the program, the stage was managed very well by Rajinder Hargarhia. At this time Madam Shakuntala, Bimla, Sunita, Lovepreet, Ashok Kumar, Narendra Pal Singh, Dr. Darshan Singh Darshan, Lal Singh, Pushpa Rani and literature lovers were present.
