Chandigarh, March 13, 2025- Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has invited applications for the Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) at University Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management (UIHTM), PU Campus. The Prospectus and application form is available on the Panjab University Website i.e.  http://puthat.puchd.ac.in. The students can apply before April 8.
The admissions would be based on entrance test, the Panjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test (PUTHAT), which would be conducted on April 25, 2025 (Friday) 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
There would be 60 + 06 NRI+ 03 Foreign National seats in Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and 30 + 03 NRI+ 02 Foreign National seats in Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM). There would be additional seats for One girl child out of the only two girl children; Cancer, AIDS and Thalassemia patient; Wards of Kashmiri Displaced Persons; Rural Area Students; Border Area Students; Youth Festival, Transgender and orphan.
The last date for submission of information on the website to generate the Login & Password is April 8, 2025 and the last date for deposit of fee through Online mode is April 10, 2025 till 4 PM. The last date for submission the fee details and uploading of photograph, signature with the rest of the information on the website is April 13, 2025. The date by which Roll No. will be available online Roll No. and Centre of Examination will be generated and the Roll No. slip is required to be downloaded from the website by the candidate using their own Login and Password is April 22, 2025. There will be no physical communication for this purpose, PU Spokesman informed.
