Garhshankar, October 18 - Balwinder Sehgal has won the Sarpanch election as the Sarpanch of Binewal, the most talked about village of Beit area. The Panchs selected along with them include Surjit Singh, Dalwinder Singh, Shisho Devi, Meera Devi, Neelam Devi, Jaswinder and Gayatri Devi Rana.
Gayatri Rana got 156 votes out of the total 213 votes of her ward and her opponent got only 47 votes. On the occasion of congratulating the newly elected Sarpanch Balwinder Sehgal, Numdar Palwinder Rana, Numdar Harpal Singh, former member Panchayat Sachin Dhiman, Deepak Rana, Joginder Singh, Jeevan Kumar, Madan Lal, Ashwani Sehgal, Bhag Chand, Maha Singh, Hari Om, Sanjeev Kumar, Satnam Singh, Goldie, Natha Ram, Ram Lal Ex Sarpanch, Charanjit Dhiman, Deepu Master, Davinder Singh, Nikka, Paramjit Singh, Baljinder Singh and Mohan Lal were also present.
