Mandi Gobindgarh, October 5 - Students of Department of Business Management and Commerce of Desh Bhagat University recently conducted an industrial visit to Preet Tractors located in Nabha. The objective of the visit was to provide the students with practical insight into the manufacturing process, operational strategies and business management practices of a leading tractor manufacturer in Punjab.
The tour started with Preet Tractors MD Hari Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Director, Jagroop Singh, Assistant Vice President and Harpreet Singh welcomed the students. He informed the students about the history, vision and mission of the company and gave detailed information about the agricultural machinery. On this occasion, the students saw the various stages of production, from organization lines to quality control. This experience helped him understand the intricacies of supply chain management and the importance of maintaining high standards in production.
A major aspect of this industry visit was an interactive session with industry experts, who shared their experiences and knowledge about the challenges and opportunities in the agriculture sector. Faculty member Dr. Baldeep Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Management and Commerce and Kapil accompanied the students from the university. Dr. Rajni Saluja, Head of Business Management and Commerce Department, thanked the company officials.
