Khatkar Kalan/Nawanshahr, September 25 - Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman reviewed the preparations for the 'Inqlaab Mahotsav' being organised by the Punjab government from September 28 to 29 at Khatkar Kalan to commemorate the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh in the form of a fair. SSP Dr Mehtab Singh also accompanied him on the occasion. He said that wonderful programs will be conducted during the two-day revolution festival, during which, apart from renowned singers and artists, students from different schools and colleges will also present cultural performances. He said that during this period plays related to Shaheed Bhagat Singh will be presented and various exhibitions and stalls will also be set up. He said that food stalls and swings for children will be the center of special attraction on this occasion.
Meanwhile, he reviewed the stage, security, parking, barricading, temporary washrooms, cleanliness, medical assistance, decorations, lighting, square decoration, drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, refreshments and other arrangements and directed the concerned officials. - Gave instructions. He said that a huge cycle rally will be held on the morning of September 28, while a marathon will be organized on the morning of September 29. He invited the residents of the district to participate in this cycle rally, marathon and fair.
