Meat, fish and egg shops will remain closed tomorrow on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti
Patiala, April 19 – Additional District Magistrate Patiala Madam Kanchan exercising powers under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti on April 21 SS Jain Sabha, Kasera Chowk Bartan Bazar, Thana Kotwali Patiala, Sheran Wala Hanuman. Orders have been issued to not keep meat, fish and egg shops, non-vegetarian hotels/dhabas' and premises within 500 meters radius of the temple, near G. Sahib Kashmiria, police station Tripri Patiala and Jain Dharamshala, Dussehra Ground Samana.

Apart from this, the SS Jain Sabha (Reg.) is conducting a dawn visit from Chatta Nanu Mal, Ram Ashram, Dal Dalia Chowk, Gurmandi back to the SS Jain Sabha. In this route also meat, fish and egg shops, non-vegetarian hotel dhabas and premises will remain closed during the dawn visit.
