PGIMER, Chandigarh gets Rs.2200 crore in the Union Budget 2024-25 for the coming financial year, which is Rs.276.90 crore & Rs.77 crore more than last year's Budget Estimates (BE) and Revised Budget Estimates (RE) respectively.
The allocation for the Creation of Capital Assets is Rs.350 crore (Rs.343.10 crore BE 2023-24/Rs.343 crore RE 2023-24). Budget estimate under the Grant-in-aid for salaries & under the Grant-in-aid (General) are at i.e.; Rs.1500 crore (Rs.1300 crore BE 2023-24/ Rs.1450 crore RE 2023-24) & Rs.340 crore (Rs.270.00 crore BE 2023-24/ Rs.320 crore RE 2023-24) respectively. Rs.10.00 crore was allocated under budget Head Grant-in-aid (SAP), same as RE 2023-24.
