SAS Nagar, August 21:- The government has earned an income of about Rs 01 billion 90 crore 98 lakh 58 thousand 315 in the last four months of this financial year from various registration works related to the daily revenue department in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Tehsil Mohali. Giving this information, Mohali Tehsildar (Sub-Registrar) Sardar Arjun Singh Grewal said that Rs 42 crore 29 lakh 64 thousand 852 were collected from registration works in April. Rs 45 crore 54 lakh 03 thousand 196 was collected in May, Rs 48 crore 95 lakh 71 thousand 322 in June, and Rs 54 crore 19 lakh 18 thousand 945 was received by the government in July. Tehsildar Grewal said that 6121 wills have been registered in the four months of the current financial year. He said that the government's income includes Ashtam fee, social infrastructure cess, development fee, registration fee, special infrastructure development fee etc.
Sardar Arjun Grewal said that on an average 225 appointments are being taken daily for registration of various works in Tehsil Mohali. If these appointments are full, then tatkal appointments can also be taken for registration, the number of which is 10 per day.
