The toll plaza built on Maur-Mansa road near village Ghuman Kalan was demolished today by Kisan Union Ekta Sidhupur with the help of JCB in the presence of police. Kisan Union Ekta Sidhupur had already given an ultimatum to demolish the toll plaza today at 2.30 pm.
Meanwhile, the leaders of the farmers' union said that this toll plaza had been closed for a long time and it had become a haven for drug addicts. People passing through here were often robbed. The police party was fully prepared to prevent any untoward incident.
