Taking notice of the su moto, a letter has been written to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural) to take appropriate action as per the rules.

Apart from this, the report of the action taken by the police has been written in the letter to be given by 30 July 2024. Giving more information about this matter, Punjab State Child Rights Protection Commission Chairman Kanwardeep Singh said that according to media reports, the family members of the children studying in the government primary school of Lasara village near Phillaur have alleged that the children do not complete their homework. The teacher there slapped the children and beat them with sticks. An 8-year-old child and a 10-year-old child are involved in this incident. The chairman further said that based on the news published in the media regarding this incident, su moto notice has been taken by the commission And in this regard, a letter has been written to the District Police Captain Jalandhar (Rural) to investigate the matter and submit the report by July 30. He said that on receiving the report from the police, appropriate action will be taken as per the rules.
