Mohali, July 30, 2025 – Punjab Mandi Board Chairman S. Harchand Singh Burst was met today by the chairmen of various market committees of the state at the Mandi Board headquarters. During this, the chairmen of the market committees apprised S. Burst of the issues and problems of the committees, which were discussed in detail.
The Chairman, Mandi Board listened to all the issues carefully and assured that action would be taken on them soon. He also said that the Mandi Board is committed to the smooth functioning of the market committees and to protect the interests of the farming community. Farmers, arhtiyas, laborers will not be allowed to face any kind of problem in the mandis.
The Punjab Government led by the Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is striving for the welfare of every section and is committed for the all-round development of the state. He said that no deficiency will be allowed in the smooth running of the work of the market committees and the employees will not be allowed to face any kind of problem.
Meanwhile, the chairmen of the market committees thanked S. Burst and said that under the guidance of Chairman S. Harchand Singh Burst, the Punjab Mandi Board is doing good work for the facilities of the people. On this occasion, Amandeep Singh Pandori Chairman Market Committee Kot Ise Khan, Gurtar Singh Kamalke Chairman Market Committee Dharamkot, Sukhbir Singh Mander Chairman Market Committee Fatehgarh Panjtur, Advocate Gurpreet Kamboj President Nagar Panchayat Fatehgarh Panjtur, Jaswant Raowal Sarpanch Raowal were present.
