Garhshankar- The English department of Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College, Garhshankar, run by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, organised a 14-day free online short term English course during the summer vacations under the leadership of Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira, with the aim of increasing the knowledge of English language among the students.
During this, course coordinator Prof. Navdeep Singh introduced the students to the English language during the vacations and prepared them to write fluent English.
Encouraging the students who participated in the course to be a part of such courses in the future as well, Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira said that such courses make the students competitive at the global level. He praised the English department for this initiative.
