On this occasion, Project Director Mr. Chaman Singh ji while addressing the gathering said that an anti-drug awareness camp has been organized under "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan". First of all he told about the establishment of Red Cross. After that, he also told about Bhai Ghanaiyaji, the first promoter of Red Cross organization, how he had created a true example of service to humanity by giving water to the enemy soldiers. Today, the youth of Punjab are badly trapped in the net of drugs, while the history of Punjab is not like this.
The land of Punjab has always given birth to brave warriors, but some people are putting the youth on the path of drugs for their own benefits and endangering the future of Punjab. Due to drugs, the youth are suffering from many diseases like black jaundice, AIDS, mental illness, impotence etc. He said that addiction is a mental illness
We should take care of our diet Keep the body healthy with a balanced diet which will keep the mind healthy and lead an ideal life by reading biographies of heroes and warriors and taking guidance from them. He said that the power of the youth is an important contribution in the development of the youth society and the country. Let us participate in the development of the country by not wasting our lives in drugs and put the country on the path of change.
While addressing the seminar, Mr. Pravesh Kumar informed about the Red Cross De-addiction Center that we treat the drug addicts absolutely free. And they are not beaten in any way and they are encouraged in every way to stay away from drugs and give up drugs by giving all kind of family environment. Any person can give up his addiction by coming to the center voluntarily and staying in the center for one month
On this occasion, Miss Raveena (teacher) also thanked the Red Cross team. She said that we should adopt the suggestions given by the Red Cross team in our lives so that we can avoid evils like drug addiction.
