
Stock market decline: Sensex falls 452 points to close at 83,606, Nifty crosses 25,500.
Mumbai - Today, the first trading day of the week, i.e. Monday, mixed trading was seen in the stock market. Today, Sensex is trading at 83,606.46 with a decline of 237.76 or 0.28%. Along with this, 12 stocks of Sensex were seen trading with an increase and 18 stocks were seen trading with a decrease. On the other hand, Nifty closed at 25,517.05 with a decline of 120.75 points or 0.47%.

On the other hand, Nifty closed at 25,517.05 with a decline of 120.75 points or 0.47%.
At around 9.27 am, the Sensex was trading at 84,057.55, up 1.35 points, while the Nifty was trading at 25,644.30, up 6.50 points or 0.03 per cent. The Nifty Bank was trading at 57,459.05, up 15.15 points or 0.03 per cent.
The Nifty Midcap 100 index rose 220.90 points or 0.37 per cent to 59,606.05. The Nifty Smallcap 100 index was trading at 19,130.15, up 153.35 points or 0.81 per cent.
Weakness in the dollar index is supporting FII inflows and retail optimism is supporting inflows into domestic funds. It is prudent to invest in this bullion market but making fresh investments at high valuations would be risky, experts said.
Foreign institutional investors were net buyers on June 27, buying equities worth Rs 1,397.02 crore. Meanwhile, domestic institutional investors were net sellers, selling equities worth Rs 588.93 crore.
