Patiala, May 11 - A man tried to rape his own 15-year-old daughter in Tepla village on the Patiala-Ambala road. After this incident that happened last Thursday, based on the statements of the girl's mother, a case has been registered against the accused father Labh Singh in Shambhu police station.
An FIR has been registered against him under Sections 376, 511, 354 B and 323 IPC under the POCSO Act. Police are still searching for the accused. According to the girl's mother, she has three daughters and her daughter is the second victim of her father's activities. Her husband did this when both the daughters were out of the house and she herself had gone out.
According to the woman, when she saw her husband doing this act, she tried to catch him by telling him to call the police, then he escaped from the house after beating the woman. According to the police, the accused is also wanted in cases of selling drugs, whose criminal record is also being checked.
