S.A.S. Nagar, July 15- Harjinder Singh Dhawan, President, Mohali Property Consultants Association (MPCA) said that during his current tenure, MPCA has achieved many major milestones and has resolved many pending issues by reaching out to the authorities.
He said that despite having a registered will, GMADA officials used to call all the heirs before transferring the property, which resulted in wastage of time and money. The association has resolved this issue by constantly contacting GMADA officials, and now it has been decided that in case of a registered will, GMADA will not need to call the heirs of the property.
He said that the association has also succeeded in getting the ban on transfer of Letter of Intent (LOI) in GPA cases lifted, and now this process is being done without any restriction. Along with this, all the pending files in the estate office of GMADA have been cleared.
He informed that work is underway to streamline the process of issuing NOCs, and efforts are being made to eliminate the need for obtaining reports from the Building Branch.
He also informed that the association is working to renovate the reception of GMADA to convert it into a modern reception, and a state-of-the-art new reception area is soon to be completed.
He said that all this has been possible due to the cooperation and suggestions of the association members, and MPCA will continue to work towards resolving the issues of property consultants.
