Hoshiarpur:- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain today held a special meeting with the families of freedom fighters at the District Administrative Complex and listened to their problems and demands in detail. The objective of the meeting was to review the facilities being provided to the families of freedom fighters and ensure timely resolution of any pending issues. Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Amarbir Kaur Bhullar was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner personally interacted with the families present and listened to their suggestions. He directed the officers to give priority to all matters related to the families of freedom fighters and ensure that there is no file or process of facilities. He said that it is the biggest responsibility of the district administration to provide respect and facilities to the families of the brave freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to sensitively resolve the problems of the families of freedom fighters and ensure regular follow-up.
Ashika Jain assured all the families that the district administration is committed to extend full support to them and such meetings will be held in future also to review the schemes for their welfare.
