Ratia, March 31: The examination results for classes 6 through 8, as well as classes 9 and 11, were declared at the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Residential School. The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, SMC President Mrs. Manjit Kaur. During the ceremony, students who secured the first, second, and third positions in their respective classes were honored with mementos by the SMC President. In Class 6, Manjot secured the first position, followed by Neelam in the second. In Class 7, Aarti (daughter of Surjit) took the first place, Aarti (daughter of Suresh) took the second, and Jashan secured the third position.
In Class 8, Simran secured the first position, followed by Hasandeep in the second, and Kamaljeet in the third. Similarly, in Class 9, Gurwinder secured the first position, followed by Pooja in the second, and Khushi in the third; while in Class 11, Sumandeep secured the first position, followed by Mansi in the second, and Khushpreet Kaur in the third.
Thus, the overall examination result for the entire school stood at 100%. All class incharges appealed to the parents to encourage the enrollment of as many female students as possible in the school. School staff members—including Principal Mr. Avneesh Garg, Banwari Lal, Kanwarjit Singh, Ghanshyam, Rupinder Kaur, Beant Kaur, Sarita Devi, Sheenu, Maheshi, and others—were present on the occasion.
Principal Mr. Avneesh Garg expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the parents for attending the event and requested them to facilitate the admission of the maximum number of female students to the school. He also sought suggestions from the parents regarding school and hostel-related matters. Refreshments were served to the parents. The Principal announced that the admission process for the school is set to commence on April 1st.
