Central Industrial Security Force celebrates 150 years of national anthem Vande Mataram in the country with public participation and digital campaigns
Chandigarh, November 10 - Following the directions of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), all the units of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) across the country celebrated the 150th anniversary of the national anthem Vande Mataram with enthusiasm.
On this occasion, a group singing of the full version of Vande Mataram was organized at the Force Headquarters in New Delhi and all the Central Industrial Security Force units. More than 200 personnel participated with patriotic fervor at the Force Headquarters.
The Central Industrial Security Force has ensured wide dissemination of this sacred message of patriotism through its geographical presence across the country. Units located in major cities as well as remote areas organised programmes to encourage maximum public participation, thereby connecting the citizens with a common sense of cultural pride and national unity.
On this occasion, Central Industrial Security Force personnel in various units also participated in a digital campaign called Karaoke with Vande Mataram, under which they recorded and uploaded the complete version of the National Anthem. Singing competitions were also organised at several places to increase the enthusiasm of the celebration.
